Sending best recovery wishes to Matt McBriar of BICEP! In late 2023, Matt began experiencing intense localized headaches and unusual fatigue. Blood test taken from this Spring revealed a “large, and pretty rare Craniopharyngioma tumour on my pituitary gland”.
Fortunately, it’s not cancerous and was detected early, preventing potential damage to his eyesight and other problems. He underwent successful surgery on August 9th and is now recovering in the hospital! Recovery will take about 6-8 weeks with some monitoring after that timeframe has passed. In the meantime, Andy Ferguson, the other member of BICEP, will continue performing while Matt recovers.
