Balthazar & Jackrock EP ‘In The Dark’ is out on RPM

After a long time in the techno scene, Balthazar & JackRock are known for their unique sounds and creative sets. They have been released on a number of well-known labels.

For us it has always been important to convey strong emotion through our music. With “In The Dark” we fuse comforting nostalgia and energising, inspiring sounds that bring promise for the future. There’s no feeling quite like witnessing everyone coming together as one, reflecting on that emotion. – Balthazar & JackRock

The beginning of “In The Dark” has dark beats and bright sounds that bring light.

The rough pads and twitchy sounds in the background make this another catchy club cut.

Then ‘Better‘ comes in strong with slamming kick drums, rumbling bass, and evocative and celestial synths.

‘In The Machine‘ ends with an acid touch and a linear tech drum that locks you in while weird voices and pulsating trance synths race on beneath a hypnotic bassline and voice hook.

It doesn’t happen often to completely fall in love with a track after hearing it for the first time, but it happened with ‘In The Dark’ and it happened hard. Initially not knowing who made it, I’m very happy to have had an open talk with Balthazar & JackRock to make this release happen.
