Aphex Twin's latest single is three decades in the making.

The pioneering electronic music producer in 1994 released one of his most influential bodies of work, Selected Ambient Works Volume II. 30 years later, he's now sharing a new "Expanded Edition" of the album via his longtime home of Warp Records.

Out now is "Rhubarb Orc. 19.53 Rev," a reinterpretation of the third track from Selected Ambient Works Volume II. According to a press release issued by Warp, the track was written by Aphex Twin, conducted by Marek Moś and performed by the AUKSO Tychy Chamber Orchestra and OCTAVA Ensemble. Aphex Twin then "recorded and reversed" it prior to today's release.

Selected Ambient Works Volume II (Expanded Edition) will be released this Friday, October 4th in five new formats. The album will feature all of the tracks from the various editions of its predecessor as well as new music, totaling 27 ambient soundscapes to enjoy.
