About Avicii

Tim Bergling (1989-2018), known as Avicii, was a groundbreaking Swedish DJ, electronic musician, and songwriter. He rose to global fame in the early 2010s and became a key figure in popularizing EDM. Avicii was famous for his melodic and uplifting progressive house sound. He gained international recognition with his 2011 hit ‘LEVELS’ and produced massive songs like ‘Wake Me Up’ and ‘Hey Brother.’ He headlined major festivals around the world and was known for his innovative production style, blending various genres. However, Avicii faced serious health issues due to stress and alcohol abuse, which led to his retirement from touring in 2016. Tragically, he died by suicide in April 2018 at the age of 28. He left behind a powerful musical legacy and raised awareness about mental health challenges in the music industry. This prompted the establishment of the Tim Bergling Foundation by his family to honor his memory.
