A Powerpuff Girls-themed rave is landing in St. Louis this summer, transforming a private warehouse space into a sugar-and-spice-fueled dance party. Channeling the charm of the kindergarten superheroes, the event promises an electric night of rave music with a heavy dose of childhood nostalgia.
The "Powerpuff Rave" runs from 8pm to 3:30am on Friday, June 27th at Cusumano's Bar. Organizers are planning to feature interactive art installations, local food vendors and a costume contest, not to mention "strict 'GIRL RULES' energy."
Whether you're a Cartoon Network diehard or just ready for a girl-powered dance party, this is one night built for "saving the world before bedtime." It's the latest in a surge of pop culture-inspired nightlife events in which niche fandom from the 90s and aughts collides with rave culture, joining the ranks of Shrek Rave and the Pokémon-themed "Pocket Monster Rave," among others.
