‘Dead Man Walking Pt. 2’: Zomboy’s latest EP is Bass WarfareDeadmanwalkingpt2

The dead don’t just walk – they absolutely demolish everything in their path. Zomboy’s “Dead Man Walking Pt. 2” EP isn’t just a follow-up; it’s a five-track nuclear assault that proves the UK bass architect hasn’t lost an ounce of that face-melting energy that gave us “Terror Squad” and “Like A Bitch.”
Opening with “Fallout” (aptly named for the destruction it’s about to cause), Zomboy reminds us why he went from drumming in metal bands to becoming dubstep royalty. The EDDIE collab “D.E.A.D.” hits like a video game boss fight gone rogue, while “Project Z” serves up the kind of grimy, mechanical mayhem that’ll have ravers questioning their life choices – in the best way possible.
Now heading up his own Rott N’ Roll Records (after that legendary run with Never Say Die), Zomboy’s evolution from SoundCloud demos to 750M streams hasn’t dulled his teeth. This EP doesn’t just bang – it’s surgical in its savagery. That closing track “Inhumation” might offer a deceptively cinematic breather, but make no mistake: this is Zomboy at his most lethal, proving once again why he’s been terrorizing festival stages from Ministry of Sound to EDC Vegas. The dead man isn’t just walking – he’s stomping the yard.
