  • Your EDM Premiere: Ian Snow & KYB – Anarchy

    Ravebot

Hot off the press today as a brand new release for FiXT Noir, a bass music-focused division of the FiXT label, comes ‘Anarchy.’ Produced by Chicago’s Ian Snow in conjunction with Aussie artist KYB, this is the first exclusive single to drop from Snow’s forthcoming EP titled Dissolution.

After spending some years in the EDM scene as SNOWMASS, Ian Snow has recently rebranded both his name and sound, putting a focus on exploring mid-tempo with a darkly charged energy. The link-up with KYB happened well prior to the pandemic, but the pair were able to work on and complete ‘Anarchy’ by sending fresh versions back and forth to each other.

It’s unapologetic and meticulously rhythmical, moving between striking builds and explosive riffs. Snow explains: “As I started listening to artists like KYB, Made By Tsuki, and Blanke, I quickly learned that Australians have a sixth sense for bass music, mid-tempo especially. Working with Kye has been a breeze. It’d bring a tear to my eye whenever I’d send him a new version, and he’d call me a “sick c**t.” It’s absurd to think that it’s been two years since the start of this track, but that’s what a pandemic will do to ya I guess … I’m really looking forward to finally seeing some crowds go buck wild to this one.”

Don’t forget to pre-save the EP right here.
