Alex Fricke, better known by his stage name FREAKY, is a DJ and music producer hailing out of Charlotte, NC. Over the years, his unique production style has helped him gain a large amount of support from acts he looks up to such as Excision, Riot Ten, Calcium and more. While portraying two sides of himself through his brand and his music, he has incorporated both heavy and melodic releases to his discography. Being so versatile, he’s had the opportunity of releasing on labels such as Dim Mak, Emengy, and multiple times on Excision’s label Subsidia. He’s even performed at events such as Lost Lands, Imagine Music Festival, along multiple direct support as well as headlining shows and so much more.

Now, he’s returning to Subsidia Records with a thunderous 12 song album, titled ‘Duality‘, that may just be his best work yet. Blvk Sheep, Chassi, High Zombie, and DJ Diesel (Shaq) all make appearances, along with numerous vocalists that bring immense versatility with unprecedented amount of energy. Meshing both heavy and melodic dubstep with some beautifully incorporated vocals, FREAKY takes his listeners on a journey that defines the last 3 years of his life.

“This album is a direct representation of who I have become as an artist and as a man. This is my evolution, this is my Duality.” – FREAKY

Whether you’re in the mood to rage to bangers like “Back Breaker“, “Attention“, and “Block“, or want to enjoy the more melodic, euphoric tracks like “Different” and “Wide Awake“, FREAKY has provided a sensational album any fan of dance music can enjoy.
