It’s been a while since we featured Carbin on Your EDM, but that’s slated to change this year as the producer unveils a new project called CHEMISTREE and also releases the debut single, “CLOCKIN’ OUT” with broke.

According to Carbin, “CHEMISTREE is a free-spirited project that encapsulates the cycle of life, the human experience, and takes listeners to an enlightened state of being while maintaining natural and grounded elements.”

“CLOCKIN’ OUT” puts a funky and experimental spin on your typical bass music that should be familiar to fans of CloZee, Big Gigantic, LSDREAM, or GRiZ. It’s a funky and fun sonic ecosystem that promises a new and improved sound that takes all its listeners on an eccentric audio/visual experience.

GRiZ and LSDREAM recently played CHEMISTREE’s debut track during their B2B set at the Okeechobee Music Festival, receiving great feedback from fans and the industry alike. The new project has been highly anticipated, and fans are thrilled to hear the new direction that CHEMISTREE is taking.

Carbin’s motivation for creating CHEMISTREE was to show the world who he is in a light they have yet to see. “Creating heavy and dark dubstep has always been a passion of mine,” he says. “I will forever love the feeling of epic intensity, but over the years, I have grown to enjoy many other styles of EDM. Having a child has brought such a large sense of joy and understanding in my life, and the CHEMISTREE project is a product of that. I wanted something more, something with more profound weight and depth behind it. I wanted something fun and uplifting. I wanted to show the world me.”
