  • PREMIERE: Badvoid & Josh Rubin Team Up For Electrifying Single, ‘The Edge’

BADVOID never fails to amaze us with the music he releases. Garnering support from world-class artists such as Marshmello, Zeds Dead, Whipped Cream, Slushii, Ghastly, Sikdope, and more, BADVOID has set himself up for several ground-breaking shows that will showcase his ongoing mission to push his musical boundaries within the bass music genre.

Now, he’s back for an electrifying new single, “The Edge,” teaming up with vocalist Josh Rubin who together make a dynamite team, melding heavy metal, pop-punk, and drum & bass into a fantastic result. Rubin’s voice is incredible, paired perfectly with high-octane production that can’t help but get your heart beating and head rocking.

“The main inspiration for this track was to try and blend heavy metal with drum and bass, Josh’s emotional and raw vocals along with the dark instrumental help indulge the listeners on a journey through darkness and emotion with the aim of telling a story about what it’s like to be on ‘The Edge.” – BADVOID

“For the vocals, I knew I needed to write something that matched the energy and intensity of the track. I decided to write about that feeling of being on the verge of a breakdown. I wanted to paint the picture of looking into the mind of someone going through those feelings and how chaotic and hopeless it seems.” – Josh Rubin
