In 2023, itsCHRISJOHNSON experienced a groundbreaking year, as his music resonated with audiences across 143 countries. The debut of his single “Sweet Lies” on Sirius XM’s BPM marked a pivotal moment, drawing attention from industry heavyweights and solidifying his presence in the music realm. Johnson’s versatility and DJ prowess were showcased through guest mixes on platforms like Dash Radio, The Music Essentials, and C89.5.

Now, he’s back with a club ready single “Get Close.” It’s a seamless fusion of electro house and tech house driven by a compelling vocal and backed up swaying melodies. It builds into a high energy drop that is sure to ignite the crowd energy no matter where it’s played.

“Get Close”was in many ways an experiment. I made the beginning, but wasn’t sure where I wanted to go with the drop. It was festival season at the time; and I was listening to a lot of throwback sets from the early 2010’s. I’ve always loved the electro sound of that era, and wanted to put my own spin on it. – itsCHRISJOHNSON
