    Due to its huge popularity, Tomorrowland is thrilled to announce that “The Great Library of Tomorrow,” the festival’s one-of-a-kind audiovisual experience for all ages, will be starting in the heart of Madrid in the fall of 2024.

    We visited The Great Library of Tomorrow in Barcelona.

    Since it opened to the public for the first time in Barcelona in December 2023, “The Great Library of Tomorrow” has been drawing more than 40,000 people from 56 countries around the world every month to enjoy a unique virtual reality experience and learn more about Tomorrowland’s fascinating themes. Now it’s time for a new story in Madrid, which will change the magic of Tomorrowland.

    ‘The Great Library of Tomorrow’ has been created and developed by Tomorrowland and XR Music Hub teams (formed by Layers of Reality and Blanco y Negro Music). Bringing ‘The Great Library of Tomorrow’ to Madrid has long been a milestone in our plans, especially considering Spain’s capital boasts a vibrant entertainment and cultural scene and ‘The Great Library of Tomorrow’ stands as one of the best immersive experiences available today.     The Great Library of Tomorrow‘ became one of the most famous places to visit in Barcelona as soon as it opened in December 2023. Over 40.000 people of all ages have come to experience the magic of one of the most famous events in the world, which is only a few steps from Plaça Catalunya. Spanish actors Ángel Llàcer and José Corbacho, Spanish chefs Ferran Adrià and Christian Escribà, international DJs Miriam Nervo and B Jones, and international cooks Roger van Damme, Nick Bril, Thijs Meliefste, and Marcelo Ballardin have all been guests of note. Catalan organizations and the Barcelona Tourism Office have also backed the project in the city because it is unique and will have an effect on people all over the world.

    The Great Library of Tomorrow‘ has been visited by schools, universities, and businesses from across the country that work with audiovisual, image, sound, gaming, technology, and new ideas.

    It has also been seen by Startup.Flanders, which is part of Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT), and The Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce.

    The Great Library of Tomorrow‘ was chosen for an exclusive ISE Tech Tour during the record-breaking ISE show in January. HTC, the biggest name in VR, also said that “The Great Library of Tomorrow” was one of the best experiences in the world at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

    What’s The Great Library of Tomorrow?

    “The Great Library of Tomorrow” is a VR experience that people of all ages can enjoy. It takes people through Tomorrowland’s fascinating worlds, such as the World of the Great Tree and the Realm of Melodia.

    Guests are drawn into the magical world of Tomorrowland through cutting-edge technology during the nearly one-hour ride. Every part of the world whispers stories of magic and wonder.
