Memorial Day Weekend in Tampa will be quieter than normal in 2024 after the organizers ofΒ Sunset Music FestivalΒ announced a hiatus.
They'll take a break this year as they navigate a "rebranding journey," according to a statement released on the festival's social media. The multi-day event will return at a new venue in 2025, organizers added.
While the team originally hoped to announce a brand-new venue this year, they said it ultimately was not ready in time and decided to postpone "rather than compromise on Sunset's quality."
Sunset Music Festival celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2022. Over the years, the festival has delivered stellarΒ audiovisual production and DJ sets fromΒ countless electronic music superstars, like Zeds Dead, Green Velvet, TroyBoi, Chris Lake, SLANDER and many more.
