Roskilde Festival 2025: First wave of artists revealed, including Stormzy, Arca, Fontaines D.C., and Beth Gibbons

Roskilde Festival reveals the first wave of acts for 2025. The 53rdΒ edition of theΒ Danish non-profit festival runs from 28 June to 5 July 2025 and will feature more than 170 music acts. Stormzy, Arca, Fontaines D.C., Magdalena Bay, Beth Gibbons, and Faye Webster are among the first 28 acts announced for the lineup at Roskilde Festival 2025. Tickets are now on sale.

Denmark’s Roskilde Festival is one of the longest-standing festivals in the game. Across eight days, the festival will host 130,000 participants, including 30,000 volunteers, and feature more than 170 music acts, as well as a vast lineup of interdisciplinary art and activism through installations, performances, workshops, and talks.

Today, the non-profit festivalβ€”which donates all proceeds to humanitarian and cultural activities that benefit youthβ€”reveals the first 28 acts to play next year’s festival.

British rapper and cultural iconΒ StormzyΒ will be among the headliners at Roskilde Festival 2025. Stormzy will be one of the first acts to play the festival’s new and enhanced Orange Stage. The main stage of the festival will be about twice its former size.

Stormzy said:Β β€œExcited to be headlining Roskilde next year. Playing in both 2016 and 2018 was incredible, but returning now as a headliner feels like a big milestone. Roskilde has a unique energy, and I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with everyone.Β It’s going to be something special!”

He will be joined by other critically acclaimed acts like Irish post-punk groupΒ Fontaines D.C., US alternative pop duoΒ Magdalena BayΒ and indie pop musicianΒ Faye Webster, the ground-breaking Venezuelan producerΒ Arca, and iconic UK singer-songwriterΒ Beth GibbonsΒ from Portishead fame.

The inaugural announcement for Roskilde Festival 2025 spans multiple styles, genres, and continents, also featuring Germany’s hard-hitting party kingsΒ Electric Callboy, acclaimed US singer-songwriters likeΒ Jessica PrattΒ andΒ Faye Webster, British experimental rock musicianΒ Geordie Greep, Lebanese post-folk six-pieceΒ Sanam, Ethiopian jazz composerΒ Esy TadesseΒ and Denmark’s very own pop superstarΒ MØ.

Inspiring hope and action for new generations
Located 20 miles outside Copenhagen, Roskilde Festival is the largest festival in Northern Europe. Home to a spectacular camping site and festival city, the festival is renowned for its deep sense of community. Being a non-profit festival means that every ticket sold directly supports humanitarian causes and cultural work, giving participants the chance to be part of something bigger.

Tickets now on sale
Tickets for Roskilde Festival 2025 are now available, with a full festival ticket priced at DKK 2,520 (approx. Β£280).

For the first time, two-day tickets are also being introduced, allowing participants to choose any two of the festival’s final four days for DKK 2,070 (approx. Β£230) plus booking fee. There is a limited number of two-day tickets on sale.
