Phrva Drops Entrancing Debut EP, "Crave"

Hypnotic bass is how Phrva communicates that his reign is just beginning—and while listening to his debut EP Crave, we are all subjects.

Crave begins with "Is It All," a mesmerizing track in which gentle vocals float amongst a sea of dark bass. The track's refrain, continuously repeated, conjures a somber introspection. "Mind" comes to bat next, uplifting listeners with a lively trap beat that pinballs a trilling melody.

Finally, the EP's last track reminds us what Phrva always wants: "More." That sentiment is stated throughout the track as a cliffhanger of sorts, leaving us wanting the same.

"Crave is my first original project, and I hope that it shows the scope of what I’m aiming to achieve with my music," said Phrva, who is set to join Tape B on tour as support for the producer's upcoming Reno and Denver shows. "At the core, Phrva is all about following a feeling and groove and not overthinking it, and the tracks on this project were all created with that mentality."
