A new documentary film exploring the life and career of the late Electronic music producer Avicii will premiere on Netflix later this year. One of the greatest and most beloved acts of EDM is further expanding his legacy, as news has arisen that a visual piece on his story will come to the website.
Titled Avicii β Iβm Tim, the film offers a glimpse into the artistβs rise to fame, his struggles with mental health, and his tragic passing in 2018. Featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews with friends and family, the documentary provides an intimate look at the life of one of modern musicβs most iconic figures.
The documentary will also include a full recording of Aviciiβs final performance at UshuaΓ―a Ibiza in 2016. This performance marked the end of the artistβs touring career as he focused on his mental health and other projects.
The Tim Bergling Foundation, established in memory of the artist, will continue its mission to support mental health initiatives, particularly among young people. The foundation recently announced its support for Dance For Life, a Swedish initiative focused on mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
